Full papers were then obtained and reviewed for inclusion for data extraction and review. The results of the literature search were as follows: • 2829 documents for title screening • 591 documents for abstract screening • 171 documents agreed for full paper screening • 118 papers included for data extraction and review 2.2 Manual bibliography search Manual searches of the bibliography of publications identified through the computerised literature search were completed. The primary objective of this search was to identify key papers published prior to 2005; however no limitations were placed on date of publication. Results of this search were limited to human studies conducted in EU and EEA/EFTA countries, the United States, Canada, and Australia. This review yielded 146 papers for data extraction and review.
